What does an International Trade Specialist do?

As International Trade Specialists, we promote business development and alliances in foreign countries. We provide information to business clients and partners related to business and expansion opportunities. We work in foreign investment firms, government, consulting firms, or as contractors. We are responsible for coordinating financial and credit activities. We ensure that all documents, filings, and regulatory reporting are accurate and according to trade laws. Some of us negotiate letters of credit with international banks. We analyze foreign trade and monitor the global market. We advise an organization on all matters of international trade.
