Look, they probably mean well, but the vast majority of the people I interacted with were more concerned that everyone got to make up their own pronouns and taking FULL DAYS off to discuss how ashamed of being successful they are. I came to that company with over 25 years experience and I honestly would not have hire but 1 or 2 people from my 50 person team if I hadn't inherited them. The place is filled with cliques & hacks.

Pros and Cons
They pay well
I'm ashamed I stayed there as long as I did.

I was hired to work as a Senior DevOps Engineer. I was "temporarily" assigned to work as release engineer. The problem was there was no process in releasing code. No one in Development, QA, or Release Engineering talked to each other. It was always "Yeah, thats good enough. Toss it over the wall and it's now their problem." Management tried a number of times to work out some sort of process and people would stick to it maybe 2 or 3 sprints (A sprint was 2 weeks in length) Then people got sloppy and it all went back to the seat-of-pants process. I was the one that had to pull it together and push out the release and then had to roll the release back a couple of hours later, 3 release out of 4. I was often working 10 or 11 hour days with no overtime just comp. When my 6 month contract was up I chose not to renew.

Pros and Cons
I got paid on time.
NO organization, lots of finger pointing

As a seasonal employee, you don't expect to get attached to the job. But for me, I got attached so quickly. My manager was always pushing me to do better and get higher certifications just because she saw my potential. I would be more than honored to be part of Intuit for the rest of my working career!

Pros and Cons
Great pay, multiple bonus opportunities throughout the season, best managers of any job I've had.

While still working for Concentrix, I was placed w Intuit, once client/job needed people to work tax season. I learned alot with thisjob and the different positions I was elevated to. I enjoyed being QA and Tier 2 Agent. With both positions, I was able to coach and train other agents. I was able to help with keeping others agents waiting for help on hard calls. However, towards the end of the season, I noticed how some agents were waiting to go to another job/client, fired/termed or placed on Leave of Absence til. It became a waiting game just to be hired w another client/job.

Pros and Cons
Enjoyed learning about taxes and different positions of the job
Using a communication tool where you had to wait to gain permission to go to restroom, lunch, etc
