The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering is the world's largest non-profit organization dedicated to advancing scientific, technological, and regulatory development in the pharmaceutical industry. ISPE is dedicated to improving its members' educational and technological performance through forums for the exchange of ideas and real-world experience. ISPE is the global market leader in linking pharmaceutical expertise to deliver manufacturing and supply chain innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory insights to help the industry grow, produce, and deliver quality medicines to patients more reliably. ISPE was established in 1980 by a group of individuals who felt that the pharmaceutical industry required an agency that dealt with real science and technology applications for technical professionals. ISPE started with a membership of engineers in North America, providing a much-needed forum. ISPE membership has grown beyond engineering to include a diverse group of pharmaceutics professionals.
