General Summary

As an Salesforce Solutions Architect and technical leader in the IT organization, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Qualcomm's Salesforce instances. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working as a team leader to explore, define, and pilot new solutions, architectures, and processes across the Salesforce landscape. In this role you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors to design and build solutions based on the Salesforce platform.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Salesforce experience with the last 5 years as a Technical or Solution Architect

  • Expert level understanding of the core Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud) with functional knowledge of the entire product suite, including Marketing Cloud, Integration Cloud, and App Cloud

  • Strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce development, configuration, and administration capabilities

  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems

  • Excellent client-facing written, presentation and verbal communication skills

  • Active Salesforce certifications

Job Duties include:

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products

  • Provide estimates of the level of effort to implement a solution based on business requirements

  • Lead technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the client’s business objectives

  • Provide guidance during evaluation of a business requirement and how it can be met with either point-and-click configuration or code and customization

  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership during projects

  • Have a strong working knowledge of Lightning Component Framework, APEX and Visualforce

  • Be comfortable with agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies

  • Follow and understand new Salesforce products and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions
