IT Clinic Support

Carbon Health seeks to hire the first member of our in-house IT Clinic Support team. We are looking for someone who cares deeply about customer service: someone who will help ensure that our Clinic IT provides the same level of exceptional service for our Urgent Care IT needs as our medical team provides for Carbon Health patients. The IT Clinic Support role will help establish standards, develop workflow processes, and ensure that all Carbon Health clinics and clinic staff are supported by an exceptional team that can solve all of their IT problems. The perfect candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, will help drive our company compliance goals, and will excel at prioritization. The ideal candidate will also be a great communicator: ensuring all documentation and team communication meets our users' IT needs and training requirements.

You will lead aspects of defining, provisioning, and deploying Carbon Health Urgent Care clinic IT needs. You will manage their network and telephony, manage 3rd party vendors, and you will take point in providing answers for all Clinic staff.

Your typical day will be filled with monitoring and managing remote clinic systems, internal and external services, and various vendors. You will ensure that all Clinic IT requests are accurately and quickly triaged. You will help build our internal Clinic IT knowledge base, and you will develop innovative ways to better the IT experience for our Clinics as we rapidly grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead providing solutions for new Clinics, as we go from a new lease to a fully operational medical facility. This will require travel up to 30% of your time by Q3 2020.
  • Lead providing solutions for existing Clinic IT needs, including maintenance and upgrades.
  • Support our geographically diverse clinics.
  • Provide proposals for scaling our ability to support a rapidly growing count of clinics.
  • Productize automating the delivery and support of Clinic IT services: including networking and telephony, remote device management, and the enforcement of security and compliance standards.
  • Identify, prioritize, and confirm resolution of problems experienced with any and all Clinic IT services.
  • Drive the efficiency with which we deliver support by improving service and vendor management, improving monitoring and metrics, and by simplifying processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases for clinics while optimizing for expenses and economies of scale.
  • Keep our knowledge base up-to-date and provide training when needed.
  • Maintain asset inventory, software purchases, and software and service licenses.

Requirements

  • You have great people skills and are driven to help: solving people's problems and improving the quality of their day.
  • Experience providing MDM with Jamf, Meraki, Google, and other SaaS applications.
  • You have the ability to learn quickly and your are comfortable evolving in a dynamic environment.
  • You are experienced with assisting remote teams consisting of employees, partners, and vendors.
  • You have been in a primary role within an IT organization.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail, and exemplary ticketing/logging/documentation habits.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the US healthcare industry.
  • Hands on Linux/Unix experience.
  • Hands on networking experience.
  • Experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
  • Compliance experience: SOC2, HITRUST, HIPAA.
