What does an IT Intern do?

As IT Interns, we work at IT companies or work IT departments at bigger organizations. We support the organizations or departments in dealing with software, hardware, and other technological problems. This position gives us the valuable experience we need to make the step up as IT Professionals. We troubleshoot problems with equipment like computers, servers, and many more, run software backups when required, and contribute to the development of new applications and software.

Core tasks:

  • maintenance of hardware, software, and other systems
  • provision of technical support and assisting in troubleshooting
  • providing IT Support in areas like programming, data center management, cybersecurity, and many more
  • documentation of all processes in reference manuals for training
  • handling of data migration duties
