Job Description
At ConMed, we rely on our IT systems to power the solutions that help consumers around the world. This position is responsible for the design, operation and maintenance of enterprise level Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 environment. We are seeking an experienced IT specialist to join us on this journey, using his or her technological skills to make us more efficient. In this role, the successful individual will oversee our current systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support--as needed. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you'll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth. As a technical lead, this position works closely with Networks Leads to ensure a highly available and highly responsive systems environment. The AD Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining security standards to ensure compliance with established security procedures and standards. Ability to manage a complex active directory tree which includes: Multiple domains, Multiple trust relationships/types, Group policies, OUs, Sites, 2-factor authentication AD/GPO experience in execution and understanding of GPOs. Analyze current Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop continuous improvement action plans. Maintain all aspects of Active Directory and perform administrative tasks such as delegation of responsibilities, ADSI, Powershell, DNS, DFS, DHCP and GPO. Strong Troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, diagnose and fix problems throughout active directory with little or no supervision. Demonstrated experience working effectively across internal and external organizations. Manage all aspects of Office 365, including but not limited to email, security, SharePoint sites, Teams, One Drive, InTune etc. Provide recommendations and implement improvements in the deployment and usage of Office 365 tools, including how to leverage new features, best practices, and improved governance. Manage Azure Active Directory and local Active Directory, including performing health checks and addressing synchronization issues. Configure and deploy device policies through MDM/Intune baseline. Create/Maintain and Enhance Team Processes and Documentation. Provide Tier 2 support for Office 365 cloud and desktop applications Provide training to end-users as required on new tools and technologies. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure technologies. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft core platform technologies based on Windows Server, including Windows and Azure Active Directory 2+ years of experience focused on Azure/hybrid environments and supporting infrastructure.
