About IT Technician

What does an IT Technician do?

Working as IT Technicians, we are accountable for identifying the issues in the information technology systems. Our primary goal is to make the IT systems efficient and productive. We analyse the root causes of complications that arise during the functionality of IT systems. Functioning as IT Technicians, we perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks on the hardware of the IT systems to improve their functionality. We co-ordinate with other team members to take their reviews on our performed changes in the IT systems. We also run validation tests on the IT machines to check the performance and impact of our advanced strategies on them.

Core tasks:

  • upgrading the hardware of IT machines
  • performing backup operations
  • writing technical documents
  • filing the results of our unit tests
  • validating the performance of IT systems
