I attended nursing school at Ivy Tech Community College. I went back to school after attending university before an accident, so I was 29-31 years of age during school. I attended school with a lot of younger adults, with lots of different learning abilities; I exhibit ADD, but maintained good grades, so I was offered by an amazing lady, Tiffany in the tutor center, to be a Supplemental Instructor for Anatomy and Physiology 101, 102, and Advanced Physiology 201. It really boosted my confidence, and helped me know my material even better! Thanks to so many people that made it possible!

Pros and Cons
Great employee mentors, lunch room, as I lived over an hour away.
Opportunities weren't guaranteed semester-to-semester

I received my aas from Ivy Tech, went to work there a year later. They support professional and educational development. Room to grow and learn. Met some of the most memorable co-workers, developed life time connections.

Pros and Cons
Professional and educational development support
Same cons as everywhere else nothing out of ordinary. Pro's outweighed the cons by far.
