I worked at the To Go window and it was hopping. We were busy with cars and trying out a new application called door dash which was decent during corona, it kept us on toes on all night long. We had lot of duties to take care of besides the register and felt like we nailed it at our job. I Never minded making friends with both the customers and employees and always managed to make it through all the shifts with smiles and happy memories.

For my experience of customer service I do recommend starting fast food although it is not for everyone it is very tough and stressful but you do get some decent money out of it

I love the company, I just don't like the owner of this location as she's the reason the location only gets one star reviews. She works her managers into mental breakdowns/depression, she is the reason the staff is nearly entirely guys who harass their coworkers (or people who don't do anything)(only 5 people there do their job), cops were called on a violent ex-manager, harassment is labeled as horse play by the owner, the owner treats harassment like a joke, and the owner is over all rude.

If you love working yourself to death (12+ hour shifts) in a 24/7 understaffed fast food joint for very little pay and no appreciation while serving some of the rudest people you've ever met, JIB is the perfect opportunity for you.

When I worked at JIB in the mid-90s, the company had just gone through an E-Coli tragedy. Several children died from it in the Pacific Northwest. It hung on the conscience of everyone who had been there at the time. It was a somber atmosphere. In addition, I was one of the rare people they recruited from the outside. They didn't have much of a worldly corporate view which made it hard to adjust to their particularities. I'm sure it is quite different now. But during the short time I lasted there, it was a odd place.
