i worked here as my first job i didn't notice how bad it really was until after i got my second job i had to beg the owner to give me my w-2 and she still didn't give me it i ended up having to call the irs. stay away!!!! its not the franchise specifically since i work under a different owner now but the owner of this one by far is the worst at managing a store. started me at minimum wage 7.5 was forced to put me into management since all the other managers quit offered me 10 a hour for management and gave me 50 hours a week as a minor in high school. i wish i wasn't so young and dumb and would have quit sooner.

Pros and Cons
free food
bad food quality bad management.

I started out as a delivery driver and worked my way up to General Manager in just a few years. My hours were long but with a great team that was more of a family we crushed it and had repeating customers that came back every week day! Unfortunately the store was moved to northern California or else I would still be working there today.

Pros and Cons
Free Sandwiches!
Long hours..

To not go on a tangent: The location and several in my area had a franchise owner that had awful ethics and possible anger issues. No one wanted to pick up shifts because it was never worth it (it didn't help that they spaced the three we have in a growing town in the most nonsensical way). Pay isn't worth it at any stage. My friend was worked until she injured herself, having found no support before this last straw. Entirely too much was expected from workers with no back up or incentive.

Pros and Cons
I could get one sandwich for working just under a double.
Downtown location was a battle to find convenient parking... Imagine wait times, please.

I was treated poorly and always felt like an outcast. I stayed with this company though out the worst part of covid pandemic and as soon as people started returning to work and felt it safer to be out of the house I was let go. They didn't even have to backbone to fire me they just removed me from the schedule.

Pros and Cons
Good hours
Terrible work environment

Crew was a blast to work with. Tips made up for lack of wage raises. Rarely bored. Management was pretty decent until new owners came in. Made it a bit toxic.

Pros and Cons
Ridin a bike for livin
No raises & no real advancement

I worked at Jimmy John’s for over two years. The area manager was great and so was the GM at my store.

Pros and Cons
One free sandwich per day for full time employees
Lots of younger “kids” employed who aren’t the most reliable employees

I worked at jimmy johns on and off for about 2 1/2 years. I don't really have anything negative to say. It was a fun job to work at most days. When the lunch rush hits or sometimes at night there's a random rush its always nice to have enough inshop and drivers on shift.

Pros and Cons
If you worked a certain amount of hours you'd get free lunch
Management is hit or miss and you don't get raises that often
