Position Summary
Caribou Thunder is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to play a critical role in supporting the Enterprise which consists of sites worldwide. The role falls within the Human Resources Division, which is divided into two branches: HR Staffing and Programs, and HR Support Services. The HR mission involves providing accurate and timely support to domestic and foreign personnel on various HR actions, including internal staffing and hiring, position management, performance management /promotions, reassignments, and awards and recognition programs.

The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) will be responsible for providing comprehensive support on various HR functions. The HRG will ensure data integrity and timeliness in processing actions, utilizing extensive knowledge of quality assurance procedures.
- Provide full support on key HR functions, including staffing/selection actions, vacancies, hiring requirements, awards actions, promotion actions, promotion panel support, and retirements/separations.
- Input and update tracking spreadsheets to monitor applicant statuses.
- Manage vacancy advertisements for Governmental Agencies (OGA) job openings.
- Input and update data for the HR data repository.
- Provide support during the transition to personnel management tools and track and input information into these tools.
- Offer HR support and excellent customer service to OGA managers, employees, and staff.
- Communicate HR issues, statuses, and programs to team members and managers.
- Provide support to Career Service Panels, promotion/evaluation panels, and selection interviews, as needed.
- Assist with onboarding and out-processing of personnel.
- Coordinate and maintain working partnerships within and across HR, other Directorates, and other elements (e.g., Travel, Security, Medical Services).
- Serve as a liaison for office managers and hiring advisors on directorate recruitment and staffing issues.
- Provide guidance using various regulations and policies on HR issues related to staffing, hiring, vacancies, awards, promotion, and retirements/separations for OGA personnel and services.
- Run canned metrics reports and assist with compiling data for workforce planning and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all relevant HR data, such as Position Management and HR Database data.
