Joerns Healthcare Company Reviews and Ratings
Customer Care

This was the worst company to work for. No issues, I was a model employee, always on time, never missed a single day in my 3 years with them. There were very few options for growth. There are a lot of people who are related within the company, I was suspended pending investigation over something that NEVER actually happened. The HR person who suspended me went on maternity leave with 2 days of my suspension and NEVER actually investigated me, nor did anyone else receive my information. I called and called to see what was happening and no one ever got back in touch with me. I found other employment shortly there after, and after 6 months started receiving calls from them requesting an exit interview. No wage increases the only option for "promotion" during my time there was lateral promotions, more work same pay! This company is a joke, and was a very stressful place to work.
Pros and Cons
Set schedule, paid training
Pay, lack of communication

I never like to completely bash a company, so I will provide some pros before I get into the list of cons.
Pros:
- Some very nice people working at Joerns
- The facility is nice and clean and doesn't have the feel of an old company
- There's rarely a dull day at Joerns
Cons:
- Lack of professsionalism from top to bottom. Constant foul language, excessive drinking in the confines of a work situation, lack of maturity at the highest levels, etc.
- Cronyism is rampant at Joerns. Call it what you want, but calling it a "good old boy" network running this place is an understatement. If you are friends with someone high up, you can do nothing and get praised for it.
- Lack of basic business sense is rampant as well. Company declared bankruptcy and said they knew why. Yet, they changed nothing related to those reasons.
Pros and Cons
There are some good people there, and on rare occasions they have free food.
See my description above. To summarize: lack of professionalism, rampant cronysim and no maturity.
