My name is Lauren Williams, and I started working at Justice when I was 16 as a ‘Style advisor’. It was my first job that I got plenty experience from. My role grew from ‘Style advisor’ to ‘Lead style advisor’. I worked at Justice for 3 years, up until 2019. Where I began my Cosmetology journey. I still carry all the knowledge and job experience with me to this day.

Pros and Cons

This was my first job and it was a nightmare ! I wasn’t trained I got judged because I didn’t dress as cute as the other girls (I couldn’t afford it ) 8 months in I got promoted to be a manager and it was a terrible experience I loved the girls I worked with management was a complete joke. The money was awful and I barely had any days off so I was working every day maybe one day off. They didn’t give me a pay raise when I was promoted so I was working for 40 hours and only getting paid 7.15. It was full of constant drama because it was basically a room full of teenage girls and the “adults” where in their early 20s wouldn’t recommend
