As Juvenile Corrections Officers, we are responsible for completing appropriate paperwork such as documentation in the logbook, probable cause reports, incident reports, intakes, and all other forms as needed, as well as police reports and referrals to Social Service agencies. We also supervise juveniles with mental health issues such as severe depression and psychosis, and acute suicidal behavior to make appropriate referrals to mental health professionals for further evaluation. We are tasked with acting as a liaison between the Juvenile Services, other outside agencies, and the general public.
