Job Description
The Key Account Manager for Industry Sales is responsible for profitable growth and gaining specification for all RMMG products at defined key industry accounts and collaborate across ABB to communicate sales opportunities at the Industry Accounts. Position location is open.

Middle Management / Senior Management
Tasks:
Lead and develop the strategic long term plans for assigned key and development accounts.
Execute short term financial objectives. Develop co-managed business objectives with assigned accounts.
Build executive relationships across the entire account enterprise. Engage ABB sponsors in assigned accounts.
Promote RMMG products at assigned key industry accounts focused on corporate activities. Leverage extended resources to drive support at End User plant locations, EPC and OEMs. Lead the collaboration and coordination between the Customer and RMMG local PG sales teams.
Seek out and promote innovative solutions (mechanically and electrically) and incorporate RMMG product specifications in End User specification packages.
Identify and pursue \"capex\" projects, and upgrade opportunities throughout the industry and promote key initiatives as identified by the industry team. In addition, promote market cost justification for equipment upgrades or modifications as they apply to our products.
Focus on competitive conversion opportunities for profitable growth and share of wallet gain.
Drive alignment of commercial programs and specifications through channel partners to grow share at assigned accounts.
Drive Documented Savings programs and measure through front line sales at assigned accounts.
Communicate important industry \"Voice of Customer\" information back to Product Management and other key internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED AND 16 years' sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR
Associates degree AND 14 years' sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR
Bachelor's Degree AND 12 years' sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
* A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
* A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or Business
Strong computer skill including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PPT.
Strong Motors and Mechanical product background.
Strong Sales, relationship and negotiation skills.
Market knowledge and strategic vision.
Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment in the pursuit of the organizational goals and objectives.
Self-motivated and directed.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Regular travel required
