It was ok good Manager and people was so kind and amazing and the work was ok not too much and calm

They say good bye to ssomeone she wanted to leave her job because of her baby so they buy flower for her and saying a worm goodbye to her.

I worked many different departments, I learned something new everyday, I even trained some of the new hires. Hated giving up my job but I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Terrible management,manager wouldn't even help when asked was told if the customer has a problem send them to customer service when it was something that could be fixed at the register. Said hrs were flexible but weren't

This is a great place to work. I believe that if you are wanting to work what you are hired on, do not expect that. Expect and inviting atmosphere with loving and caring people.

I enjoyed working here at first because it is good experience for when you are just entering the workforce. Terrible pay with no option to move up in the company. I decided to resign because I was doing most of the work on the floor during my shift, even though there was usually 2 other associates working with me. Management only cared about selling credit cards, which was already hard to do since almost every customer had one already. Unless you are used to retail and enjoy being criticized when you aren't getting enough applications, retail may not be for you.

Was a fantastic place to work prior to the "district manager" breaking up the "management team" of the store. Was replaced by individuals not able to fill the roles vacated

I’ve worked at kohls for 5 1/2 years, and dealing with customers was exciting. Meeting new people and helping customers find what they was looking for.

They are a friendly company to work for.. the wages aren’t great.. hours fluctuate.. incentives are good.. try and push credit cards which is a downfall if your not friendly

Don’t waste your time. It’s all about who sucks up the district manager, no matter how many years of experience. I was under doctors orders to work half shifts for a few weeks and my boss told me I wouldn’t have a job if I went home. When I told district manager, he said he wasn’t my boss. They will have you work 5am-9pm if you aren’t careful. They will justify it by saying you get 2 weekends off a month

I honestly loved working at Kohl’s. I never dreaded going to work, customers were usually sweet, and my managers were great. The reason I left, however, was the pay. I couldn’t work for $10 an hour, especially when they don’t do raises. There’s opportunities for promotion, but only if you work full time and specialize in a department other than registers. All in all, it’s a great first job, but not one I would recommend to high school graduates.
