Based in Los Angeles, California, LA Clippers is a professional basketball team in America. The team takes part in the NBA tournament as a member of the league’s Pacific Division in the League’s Western Conference. The team plays its home games at the venue called Staples Center, sharing the facility with their fellow NBA team Los Angeles Lakers, and a team from Women National Basketball Association (WNBA) called Los Angeles Sparks, as well as a team of the national hocket league called Los Angeles Kings. Coached by Tyronn Lue, the team was founded as an expansion team in 1970 named Buffalo Braves. Rebranded as San Diego Clippers in 1978, the team was unsuccessful in its six years at San Diego missing playoff in each of the six years at San Diego. The franchise was relocated in 1984 to Los Angeles by their owner Ronald Sterling.
