As LAB Managers, we ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly functioning. We coordinate preventative maintenance, repair, and purchase of equipment. We maintain service contracts and support facility sanitation and environmental testing. We complete and maintain all applicable logs and check sheets. We are responsible for the action plan to respond to facility equipment failures. We oversee all aspects of safety. We track and manage chemicals and hazardous materials. We establish and facilitate PPE policy. We also coordinate laboratory safety inspections. We coordinate with IT to ensure computers and associated equipment are functioning in the lab. We maintain the organization of the lab and lab systems.
