About Land Development Project Manager

What does a Land Development Project Manager do?

As Land Development Project Managers, we are responsible for designing portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling and Civil 3D technology. Also, we have to complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilize computers in order to solve problems and prepare specifications materials through the use of research and manufacturing catalogs to specify materials, installation, inspection and payment of items specific to a project.

Core tasks:

  • working to complete design details and plan sets and assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates
  • communicating with client, staff and internal design team and coordinating of land surveys, easements, etc. and works with surveyors, engineers etc. to ensure work is done as required
  • coordinating environmental reviews and remediation efforts on various development projects
  • coordinating draw submittal with accounting and coordinating land maintenance activities
