What does a Language Interpreter do?

As Language Interpreters, we are responsible for converting spoken or signed language statements from one language to another while maintaining the accuracy and context of the original message. Our work involves facilitating communication between parties who speak different languages, ensuring cultural nuances and implications are appropriately conveyed. We work in various settings, including medical, legal, conference, and community services. Interpreters must remain neutral and unbiased, respecting confidentiality and ethical guidelines. We often use specialized terminology based on the subject matter of the conversation.
