As Learning Specialists, we work with students, teachers, and other faculty staff to create strategies that promote greater academic success. We address poor habits relating to time management, lack of motivation, educational deficiencies, and goal-setting issues. We also help students develop learning preferences for more effective studying by discovering which subject they like the most and assisting teachers with preparing students for standardized testing. We support the staff in identifying students who would benefit the most from this intervention through an in-depth study of their academic background.
