What does a Leasing Specialist do?

As Leasing Specialists, we ensure that there is quick occupancy of vacant properties, high conversion rates, and ensure high occupancy levels. As lease specialists, we are required to maximize rentals, engage in marketing programs for the sale of properties, support the showcase and monitoring of products, book meeting days with various clients all geared towards the quick lease of the property. Our functions go beyond sales and marketing as we also carry out administrative and customer service functions such as taking care of guests, ensuring they are comfortable, and many more.

Core tasks:

  • verifying and scrutinizing the applications of potential buyers
  • performing adequate research to ascertain the credit and criminal records of clients
  • ensuring the queries of tenants are swiftly attended to
  • helping out in the posting of rents
  • scheduling meeting days with clients
