Global General Practice Law Firm in Washington, DC has a new career opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant. This role is responsible for supporting firm-wide training, professional development and continuing education compliance. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist the Professional Development Team with responding to inquiries regarding continuing education compliance and program accreditation.

*
Perform data entry and generate compliance reports and forms for training purposes.

*
Maintain Firm's Continuing Education files and distribute to Attorneys as requested.

*
Assist in preparation of various departmental reports, spreadsheets, charts and databases.

*
Create training schedules for in-house training programs.

*
Provide support with accessing the firm's external training programs.

*
Prepare, type, edit, format and proofread general correspondence and documents for the department.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

Minimum one year of administrative assistant experience in a professional office setting required.

*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to professionally interact with attorneys, partners, management and support staff at all levels.

*
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

*
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

*
Proactive and able to make recommendations for improving processes and procedures.

*
Bachelor's Degree desired.

  • Prepare, proofread, or process legal documents, such as summonses, subpoenas, complaints, appeals, motions, or pretrial agreements.
  • Mail, fax, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials.
  • Receive and place telephone calls.
  • Schedule and make appointments.
