Legal Sea Foods started in 1950, by George Berkowitz who opened a fish market in Inman Square, Massachusetts. In 1968, the Berkowitz family opened its first season foods restaurant, right next to the fish market. Their Headquarters is located in Boston. They've been making 'fanatics for freshness' and Quality Control Center to the extent that they built their own state-of-the-art fish processing plant and fish laboratory.
