What does a Library Associate do?

As Library Associates, our primary tasks include assisting patrons with locating materials, organizing and shelving library items, and managing circulation activities. We provide customer service support by answering inquiries and facilitating access to library resources. Library Associates also assist in developing library programs and events designed to engage the community. Furthermore, we help patrons with the use of computers and other library technologies. We often assist librarians in cataloging and maintaining library resources.
