About Library Technician

What does a Library Technician do?

Functioning as Library Technicians, we are responsible for circulating the books and other educational materials in the library. we update the previous records of books and other materials of the library. We also make documents of the people who take the books from the library. In the role of Library Technician, we are accountable for identifying the improvement areas in the libraries and reporting them to the other team members. We provide assistance to the team members in the completion of the assigned work within the given timeline. We performance small repair and maintenance tasks in the libraries to maintain the good conditions of the old libraries and the new ones as well.

Core tasks:

  • organising the library materials
  • maintaining the library catalogue
  • performing their repair tasks
  • hiring the new staff members for the library management
  • maintaining the good condition of the libraries
