Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to help them reduce stress, alleviate pain, and improve physical well-being. They use various techniques like Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage tailored to the client's needs and preferences. LMTs must be knowledgeable in human anatomy and maintain a thorough understanding of how massage affects the body. They also advise clients on stretching techniques, relaxation methods, and overall wellness strategies. Licensed Massage Therapists must comply with state regulations and obtain continuing education to maintain their licensure.
