Some of the licensed opticians have been trained to fit contact lenses and give advice on their care and use. We are tasked to take frames and facial measurements of customers to ensure correct frame fit and positioning. We guide partially sighted patients on the use of low vision aids and other patients on when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed. We are responsible for ordering lenses from prescription laboratories on behalf of customer. We check lenses delivered to ascertain that they meet terms of reference.
