About Line Cook

What does a Line Cook do?

We, line cooks, provide assistance in preparing the meals according to the recipes. We prepare high-quality meals and recipes that meet the specifications of the chefs and report to the executive chefs and follow their instructions precisely. Our duties include ensuring on-time preparation of the workstations and ensure that the kitchens are stocked and set up. We prepare the ingredients of the dishes by cutting meats, chopping the vegetables, and preparing the sauces. In addition to it, we ensure that food is prepared and stored while aligning with the safety and health regulations. As line cooks, we clean the preparation areas and take care of the leftovers.
