What does a Line Haul Truck Driver do?

As Line Haul Truck Drivers, our responsibilities highlight loading and unloading freight, reaching the destination safely, contacting dispatchers, and initiating necessary measures considering the inclement weather. We should be able to follow some skills including time management, driving skills, customer service, and reliability. We should also have to have a valid commercial driver's license to proceed on. Before we start our trip to any pre-destined location within the country, we have to ensure that the vehicle is in good condition. It will help us to reach timely and safely.

  • completing deliveries on the scheduled time
  • inspecting the truck carefully before moving
  • communicating with other drivers and dispatchers
