General Summary: Receives, distributes and retrieves hospital linens on a daily basis. Provides back up support to Supply Chain distribution as required.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: - High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Must be familiar with universal precautions during the performance of duties.
Working Conditions: Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general laborer, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.)
Environmental Conditions: The worker is required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
- Frequent periods of multiple distractions (i.e. phone calls and end user interactions)
- Continuous ergonomic demands, (i.e. standing, lifting, bending, pulling, etc.)
Reporting Relationship: - Supervised by the Laundry Supervisor, ensuring on a regular basis, that all departmental standards are in compliance.
