About Litigation Specialist

What does a Litigation Specialist do?

As Litigation Specialists, we help lawyers prepare for court trials. We provide support to attorneys and lawyers during the litigation procedure. We are responsible for coordinating legal documents and forming litigation support documents. Completing documentation requests and gathering evidence to be used in a court trial is part of our daily responsibilities. We review and manage all claim related legal actions and evaluate settlement potential; negotiate agreements on certain cases. We prepare reports and case summaries and coordinate activities of attorneys and SFIC’s legal bill management personnel. Working as Litigation Specialists, we resolve disputes between attorneys and clients.

Core tasks:

  • monitor third-party lawsuits
  • recommend changes to security first approved counsel list
  • maintain reserves on litigated claims
