Job Description

UES Family of 5 looking for a live-in house manager to start ASAP. The family resides in a 6-floortownhouse with a 1 bedroom apartment on the lower level for the House Manager. Idealcandidate meets the following requirements: Legally able to work in the U.S. Polished, poised and extremely presentable; hands-on service-oriented attitude; no tasktoo big or too small. Must have quiet and discreet personality as this position requiresliving in the familys home. Pro-active and detail-oriented in all aspects of caretaking and maintaining the familysresidence. Excellent team player and works well in a fully staffed home. Comfortable working in a home with 3 school aged children. 15+ years of related professional experience working in private high-end service &house management including live-in experience. Excellent references from all previous employers; outstanding letters ofrecommendation Extremely well versed in all areas of service and management, both formal & informal Adept in all areas of Property Management, Care-taking, Hospitality and Butler /Service work:o Serving as all-around gatekeeper to principals.o Scheduling and supervision of all vendors / contractorso Pays meticulous attention to all aspects of the townhouse, ensuring everything isworking smoothly and if not, managing all repairs immediately.o Manage calendar for regular maintenance of townhouseo Adept in smart home technologyo Maintaining vehicles & insurance for guest readiness at all timeso Creating protocols, household & service manualso Construction, home renovation & project managemento Domestic staff recruiting, on boarding, training & managemento Event production & managemento Providing formal & informal service as well as service trainingo Proper care for fine China, silver, glassware and linens, etc.o Adept in formal serviceo Additional high-level hospitality duties (managing calendars, travelarrangements, executive functions, etc.) Pet lover; willing and able to provide care for familys 25 lbs Labradoodle. (feeding,walking, administering medication). Occasionally will be asked to watch the familydog when family travels. Able to pitch in on housekeeping in the event it is required due to a housekeeper beingout or ill. Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office and Mac OSX; extremely tech savvy Active, enthusiastic and engaging with high energy Extremely flexible with hours and scheduling; willing to work 7 days/week; 24/7mentality and availability. Main schedule will be five days a week with 2 consecutivedays off. Available to interview and begin work immediatelyCompensation commensurate with experience.   • Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of commercial, industrial, or residential properties.
