About Loan Specialist

What does a Loan Specialist do?

As Loan Specialists, we are responsible for receiving and processing inbound contracts in order to expedite the delivery and funding process. We are also responsible for making and receiving outbound calls in order to follow up and assist the customer through the buying and selling process. We work directly with internal team members in multiple departments and externally with customers and vendors via email and are expected to digitally communicate in an efficient manner. Additionally, we have a great understanding of consumer lending, compliance practices, and have quality communication and convincing power to bring the potential clients on board by providing them factual solution to their financial problems.

Core tasks:

  • organize customer information in a customer’s file for efficient processing through the funnel
  • manage a pipeline of open contracts pending funding from our external lender partners efficiently
  • verify sensitive materials such as a driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle titles
  • quality assurance of the structure and configuration of consumer contracts when they sell or purchase
  • analyze customer credit bureaus strategically
  • confidentiality manage, analyze, and process customers' credit applications, ensuring accuracy of customer data
