Local Truck Driver HOW YOU'LL HELP US CONNECT THE WORLD: This position requires experience driving truck equipment in day or night hours, all terrains and in all-weather conditions. No overight travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY: Successful and safe completion of activities shall include but is not limited to:
- Driving a local truck or any company vehicle as needed.
- Load and unload truck using forklift.
- Accurate documentation of all paperwork.
- Daily vehicle, trailer and yard inspections ensuring equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
- Timely communications with people involved with continued operations of company facilities.
- Ensure vehicles and trailers dropped are properly secured .
Required qualifications for consideration: - Must be 25 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 4 years of CDL-A Truck Driver experience and a Valid Commercial Driver's License from state of residency.
- Must have current DOT physical and no preventable accident during the previous 3 years.
- Must be physically capable of safely handling heavy freight by loading of flatbeds and be Forklift certified or willing to certify.
