About Logistics Specialist

What does a Logistics Specialist do?

As Logistics Specialists, we are responsible for overseeing the flow of products within a firm. We prepare shipping and receiving of goods in and out of the firms where we work. We also offer support with regard to maintaining logistics policies, administering inventory regulation systems and supervise in-house sales team. We ensure accurate processing of orders for our clients and customers. We create reports to present costs of transportation of goods in the firm. We maintain and establish the minimum and maximum consumable inventory ceiling. We are tasked with monitoring and managing the fleet performances and develop a scheduling planning.

Core tasks:

  • scheduling and managing fleet in the firm
  • supervising in-house sales team to enhance quality service delivery
  • providing oversight with regard to flow of products in and out of the firm
  • maintaining logistics policies in a firm
