It is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Lousiana, the United States, with other regional offices located across the state. Chuck Carr Brown is the responsible person of the LDEQ organization. LDEQ is a government state agency that is responsible for monitoring the environment of the Lousiana State and providing comprehensive environmental protection. Its main mission is to promote and protect the health safety, and welfare of the people in Lousiana State. LDEQ has introduced many programs such as small business assistance, Lousiana Environmental Leadership Programs, Enviroschool, and Outreach and Education through its 5 supported divisions of the department. It is an equal opportunity employer.
