About Machine Learning Engineer

What does a Machine Learning Engineer do?

As Machine Learning Engineers, we design self-running software to automate predictive models. We design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems. We also research and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools. We select proper data sets and data representation methods for the machine learning process. To see the potential of the ML, we carry out many tests and experiments. We also perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results. We study in-depth and transform data science prototypes. We also train and retrain systems when necessary. We extend ML libraries and frameworks for better understating. We also keep abreast of developments while working in the field. As Machine Learning Engineers, our main responsibility is to shape and build efficient self-learning applications.

Core tasks:

  • design machine learning systems
  • select appropriate data sets and data representation methods
  • run machine learning tests and experiments *perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
