Maine Medical Center

Maine is a great place to be and Maine Medical Center (Maine Med) is a great place to work. From its people and culture to its overall presence as a keystone to Maine Health there is plenty of great opportunities. Upper management works openly with its rank and file like no place I have worked before. My only regret is in leaving. I find that the one downside is in salary. I am sure that you can negotiate a good rate but know the area first as southern Maine is not the cheapest place to live. You will find your salary to lag about 10% behind other states making stretching your dollar important. But…..The benefits of living in the area far outweigh any negatives.
