Eastern Washington University is seeking a self-motivated, independent, worker for a Maintenance Custodian Floating Schedule . This position performs custodial duties and routine maintenance work on building, facilities and equipment. This position performs work of a Custodian 1 & 2 when needed. PRIMARY DUTIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE: Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair a variety of heavy duty floor machines such as auto scrubbers, buffers and vacuums; replace drive wheels, shafts, bearings, gears, valves and electrical switches. Oil motors and clean all terminals, maintain all equipment in the area. Organize resources to do repairs in the field whenever possible. Maintain an appropriate stock of parts in the shop to perform necessary repairs and services.
