Zinpro Corporation, the feed industry leader in the manufacturing, research, and marketing of Performance Minerals*, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Maintenance Manager.
Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the maintenance manager is responsible for maintenance of the physical plant systems and building. Prioritizes and coordinates repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Directs and utilizes the plant preventive/predictive maintenance system to control equipment maintenance and calibration program in accordance with requirements.
Requisitions tools, equipment, parts and supplies required for maintenance.
Communicates issues that affect production and equipment operation and confers with management to schedule repairs and resolve maintenance problems.
Performs maintenance activities in accordance with product safety, personal safety and housekeeping requirements and maintains a clean and organized work area.
Qualified candidates should possess: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
2 years' experience in plant operations and/or maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively communicate maintenance requirements to Plant Operators.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
