About Maintenance Planner

What does a Maintenance Planner do?

As maintenance planners, we work in production plants. Our job is to plan and arrange activities related to equipment maintenance. This means ordering necessary material and parts, as well as scheduling and coordinating the work of the maintenance team and external contractors. We also manage manuals and other documentation needed for maintenance repairs or modifications. Our aim is to minimize downtime and maximize the value of preventive maintenance.

Core tasks:

  • performing equipment quality audits
  • planning, coordinating, and scheduling equipment maintenance activities
  • procurement of spare parts, equipments and vendor services
  • managing equipment documentation
