What does a Maintenance Supervisor do?

As Maintenance Supervisors, our job is to oversee all of the maintenance activities for a company. We organize and manage the installations, maintenances, and other repair tasks. Depending on your organization, we work in constructions and a large set of buildings. We are tasked with managing a team of employees and inspecting the sites regularly. As Maintenance Supervisors, we perform other tasks including equipment maintenance. We act as a team leader and assign laborers to many projects.

Core tasks:

  • inspecting sites daily, identifying issues and needed maintenance
  • preparing monthly maintenance timetables and assign work to the right persons
  • employing, supervising, and training labors
  • coordinating daily dusting and maintenance goings-on
  • supervise all maintenances and ensure timely completion
