Job Description

Liberty Health Sciences is expanding its Maintenance Department and is looking for an outgoing, friendly, and dynamic individuals to join our team. Job tasks include maintaining preventative maintenance, troubleshooting. and repair of electrical and mechanical (including building, plumbing and HVAC) at our facilities and documenting all work (data entry into the maintenance software program).

  • Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary
  • Provide and implement measures to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment (including critical spare parts) and supplies required
  • Collect and analyze data to recognize trends and improve the reliability of equipment
  • Maintenance of all facilities equipment
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections documented electronically in computer maintenance software program
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency. Notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
  • Perform all other maintenance duties as requested or and all other duties as required
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Log all maintenance activities into the Maintenance Log
  • Issue and keep track of all equipment ID numbers
  • Ensure maintenance is done in a way that will not contaminate any equipment or pose a food safety risk to products
  • Ensure that temporary repairs are controlled to ensure food safety and legality of the product
  • Ensure that maintenance areas are checked to ensure equipment has been cleaned, and all tools and materials have been removed.
  • Ensure the grounds are maintained in a manner to deter pests
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Technical certification in Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC preferred
  • Knowledge of GPP/GMP (Good Production Practices/Good Manufacturing Practices) would be considered an asset
  • General working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Previous experience working with preventative maintenance software programs
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team
  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check (FBI)
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 75lbs.Must be able to work in an enclosed and secure work area
  • Appropriate grooming for work environment (no jewelry, hair must be tied back, no hair outside of PPE)
  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time (I.e. gloves, lab coat, hair net) if working in Clean Room Environment
