MAKO Medical Company Reviews and Ratings

First, I quit them. To explain the adventure would be like a reading from a children’s storybook. What you see beforehand is similar to a movie trailer. Then the behind-the-scenes look confirms it was overhyped and full of special effects. As a door prize: You get a scrub, you get a scrub…everybody gets scrubs! Also, let’s slap an American flag on there to look legit. Unsafe work conditions are a REAL issue, whether it’s in the lab or doing site testing. Not everybody believes in the products or services they push. If you’re fine with 2 paid holidays a year, low wages, expensive health benefits, PTO that you lose upon leaving - even when it’s voluntary (vacation & personal days combined), an unstable volume of work that results in quiet layoffs, and a high-ranking exec who deceives people through Indeed and text messages with fake job postings and unfulfilled jobs, then by all means give Mako a chance. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
Pros and Cons
Some jobs are remote; scrubs that you can do your yard work in
Runs like a start-up company with a “pass the ball” approach for selecting leaders; unsafe work

Mako is a great company to work for. I enjoyed working with the patients I serviced. Management is good. Supervisors are awesome to work with as long as Team Leads are honest and fair.
Pros and Cons
Employees do work together to make sure areas are covered.
Sometimes Team Leads are not fair and honest.
