Job Description

acpi Wood Products is hiring for front line management lead 2nd shift at our cabinet production facility in Aurora, CO* Please apply if you are interested on 2nd shift with mandatory overtime *Description of Duties:* Lead employees in the areas of Safety, Quality of Work, Quality of Material, Labor Utilization, 6S, and PPT's.* Perform work associated with department production.* Train and support department employees.* Fully direct operations of department.Experience Requirement:* High School degree or equivalent preferred.* Four years prior manufacturing experience.* Prior leadership experience highly desirable.* Bilingual a plus.* Safety rules and requirements: knows safety rules, PPE required and able to inspect area accurately.* Product knowledge.* Use Leader Standard Work, Operator Standard Work, and Work Instructions for training and regular audits to compliance.* Key Result Areas: metrics, standards and goals.* Math skills: addition, subtractin, mutliplication, division, fractions and percents.* Use tape measure: metric and standard.* Able to train employees in department and coach performance.* Understand quality standards.* Able to use a computer to look up information.* Operate equipment and use hand tools.* Understanding of liquid measurements.Benefits:* 2nd shift: 3:30 pm* Pay Range: $15.08/hr - $22.62/hr depending on experience* 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match* Health, Dental & Life Insurances* Company Paid Short Term and long Term Disability* Paid vacation in first year* 11 Paid Holidays per year* Excellent product discounts

  • Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations.
  • Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports to detect production problems.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
