This position is responsible for managing Digital Sales Teams in achieving the company's revenue goals for specific products, as well as coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff for improvement. - Key Responsibilities Manage a sales team of Account Managers: Account Managers are responsible for an established account base of existing CA customers, focused on growing CA-s Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within their assigned solution set Sales motion drives the expansion of current technology as well as the preservation of renewals via a mix of telephonic and social media activity; .-- - Sales manager will be responsible to measure and report on team's performance against targets while meeting goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (both revenue targets and team metrics). Hire, develop and retain talent. Manage the overall development plan of the team, including: coach and monitor staff review productivity level of the teams ensure proper training activities (product, sales, and process) develop and determine team and individual goals Work with Director, Digital Sales to foster communication between various organizations to ensure teamwork . Collaborate with BU team leaders/members to plan, coordinate, and develop strategies to achieve team goals. Tightly align with internal organizations that can support adoption:- Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Support, Business Development/Demand Gen teams. Understand and communicate organizational challenges and strategies; understand and communicate the long-term view of the possibilities to shape the future for CA's transformational opportunities. Align with field/territory sales teams to develop and create and drive a strategy for aligned solution/accounts Attend product, sales, management training classes. Maintain a positive, professional "total customer service" attitude throughout the team. Ensure effective time management practices to properly support organizational activities. Ensure the team stays informed on the approaches, research best practices within and outside the organization, establish benchmarks, and use continuous process improvement and process framework disciplines to achieve results. Ensure team activities are aligned with CA's financial, strategic, and operating objectives Support the implementation of an Inside Sales strategy based on direction from senior management. Possess leadership competencies necessary to motivate teams to attain their goals. Ensure team activities are planned and executed in alignment with the desired outcomes. Ensure effective resource planning and utilization within the team. Develop and manage departmental operating expense and capital budgets. Typically manages a total budget of up to $10 million USD. - Business Travel and Physical Demands Business travel of approximately 10 or less percent yearly is expected for this position. No special physical demands required. - Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related field, preferably in an IT, business or sales related field. - Work Experience Typically 7 or more years of Inside Sales experience, of which 2 years are in an Inside Sales supervisory position with proven results. - Skills & Competencies Presentation and computer skills are necessary.
