Manager Human Resources - Quincy, FL Purpose: The HR Manageris a business partner to operational leadership and is responsible for leading,implementing and executing the organizations HR strategy, key projects andinitiatives within the facility/group. Job Responsibilities: HR Leadership Leadsthe HR function for a facility, provides functional HR expertise, plans andexecutes on key projects. Directlymanages team of HR Business Partners and associates within the facility anddrives performance in the local HR teams. Responsible for leveraging best practices and creating a culture ofcollaboration within the region/group, and nationally. ExecutesHR programs within the facility. Ensuresalignment with HR processes and programs. Collaborateswith HR colleagues to share best practices and leverage successes across thecompany. Supports peer networks acrossthe company. Leveragesnetwork for learning when encountering a new challenge. Manages personal development followingchanges to company, business and/or HR strategy. Participates in development of HR colleagues. StrategicBusiness Partnership Buildseffective working relationships with leaders. Balances facility/group needs with HR guidelines when makingdecisions. Provides transparency intowork. Leveragesa deep understanding of business needs and participates in solving businessproblems within the facility through the talent lens. Providescoaching to leaders and individual contributors at SVP level and below, withthe goal of making others successful. Ensuresthat associate questions are promptly and courteously resolved. Derives insights from metrics, reports insights to business leaders, anduses those insights to solve business problems and improve processes. WorkforcePlanning and Talent Management Responsiblefor implementing the workforce and talent agenda, creating a compellingexperience that attracts the right people in a competitive market and drivesenterprise productivity, in partnership with Talent Acquisition. Forecastscurrent and future talent needs for the facility/group. Maintains and updates a succession plan forfront line leadership and proactively identifies next generation leaders. Executes annual talent review process for thefacility/group. Advisesleaders on effective onboarding strategies and plans to ensure successfulassimilation of new hires. Deliverstraining programs. Engagement& Associate Relations Responsiblefor being a steward of the company culture. Assessesand monitors associate engagement on a proactive, ongoing basis. Implements associate engagement surveys andaction plans. Identifies trends andworks to systematically address disengagement issues. Addressesassociate concerns at local level, conducts investigations and facilitatesproblem resolution. Providesleaders and associates with coaching and resources to help them resolve andprevent interpersonal and team conflicts and adapt to different associate andleadership styles. Driveschange management among leaders to ensure strategic changes that impactassociates are rolled out in an engaging, well communicated and reinforced way. Execution of HRFunction and Programs ImplementsHR initiatives and programs in new ways to adapt to changing associate andbusiness needs. Seeks feedback frombusiness leaders and associates on how HR could improve implementation of HRprograms. Completesreports and information requests accurately and timely. Responsiblefor executing core annual programs, such as performance objectives and goalsetting, performance evaluations, compensation planning, talent assessment,succession planning, wellness, annual enrollment, etc. Responsiblefor executing local programs for areas such as talent development, engagement,recognition, training, wellness, and labor relations. Responsiblefor HR compliance activities within facility/group, requires thorough knowledgeof HR policies and procedures as well as federal and state/province laws. Responsiblefor ensuring that human resources functions, including recordkeeping, talentdevelopment, promotions, terminations, etc. are all conducted in accordancewith Company procedures and applicable legal requirements. Responsible for implementation of AffirmativeAction Plan and goals, as applicable. Travelrequired, may be up to 30% Performs otherjob duties as required Job Requirements: Education/Certification: Bachelorsdegree in business or related field PHR/SPHR/CHRL/CPHRCertification preferred Experience: 5-7years of HR experience, or related field Knowledge: HumanResources techniques in the areas of talent, engagement and workforce planning Federal,state/province and local employment laws.
