Manager, Information Technology
Lead multiple SCRUM teams responsible for developing application solutions that support our Claims shops/Corporate/Health Plans, creating flexibility and efficiencies that directly improve the quality of claims processing and customer experience.
Lead projects, collaborate with IT teams to understand requirements and oversee the implementation and deployment of product changes.
Collaborate with other managers to help manage development assignments, identify and resolve roadblocks, determine timelines, raise risks and identify solutions.
Work cross-functionally to maintain and to improve integrations with other foundation systems
Participate in creating new processes, determining strategy and identifying improvements for the department.
Allocate departmental resources to responsively deliver business value to customers through enhancement of core applications and ensure department deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
Responsible for people management including career planning and development support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews.Position Purpose: Manage department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.
- Plan and direct the daily activities of a team focused on a particular system or technology.
- Liaison with managers in IT and other functions, applying standard solutions and processes.
- Apply specific technical expertise in depth to address technical and business issues.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of related IT experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
Displaying advanced communication and leadership skills
Strong experience as a Working as a liaison between Product Owners and Scrum Masters to mentor on backlog
Experience translating the strategic direction of the business into technical considerations for the development and operations teams
Understanding of continuous Integration and Deployment with AWS or Cloud DevOps
Understanding of Cloud-based implementations models (SaaS, PaaS etc) and other leading Technologies
Experience in Managing application development teams in the areas of Health Care Claims on PEGA Platform
PEGA Certifications or AWS Certifications
Working closely with different domain Scrum Masters , Architects, Tech leads to check Agile operational health check, creating consolidated Reports/Dashboards with Scrum Master(s)
Develop technical road map for Process Automation team and align with Product Management.
Manages multiple complex work streams required to execute complex projects and ensures delivery within scope, on time, and to budget.
